Away of movement and restlessness of the world city, the Quinta da Ribeira da Urze is officially at your disposal since February 2008, located at the north side in Pico island, council of S. Roque, instead of Prainha de Cima, place for many tourists to spend holidays.Inserted in rural areas, surrounded by a small population dedicated to the agro-livestock, it is possible to see and experience the manual milking of cows, enjoy the fresh milk and cheese to a breakfast, cook a typical meal, take a bath in the sea or natural pool, fishing, diving, walking on foot or ride on a bicycle, go to the restaurant, look the curral of vineyards - World Heritage and visit the neighbouring islands of Faial and S. Jorge.
