STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION

Quinta do Martelo, regarded as a ‘Tourist Utility’ by the Azorean Regional Government, intends to recreate the genuine rural ambiance of Terceira, from the buildings and ornaments, on to the gastronomy and clothing, tradition and festivities. The accommodations available in each house are different, examples of the best in furniture and decoration made in the island in the past four centuries. Covering several types of housing from the island’s settlement to the last century, these houses resemble the design of a village.

SERVICES DESCRIPTION

Here you can taste the best of our island’s traditional cuisine. This Restaurant received the first prize in the ‘Gastronomy – National Heritage’ contest, among other awards. Here you can observe and taste the evolution of the Azorean gastronomy and culture throughout the centuries. All products produced in Quinta do Martelo are used in the dishes featured in the Restaurant A Venda do Ti Manel da Quinta.
