Azores Win World’s Best Adventure Destination for Second Year in a Row

The Azores renewed their title this Sunday, November 24th, in those who are considered the “Oscar of Tourism”. The awards ceremony brought together main leaders of the tourism sector on the five continents in Funchal, Madeira.

The Azores beat destinations such as Australia, Costa Rica, Japan and New Zealand, nominated in the same category in those that are considered the most important industry awards. In March of this year, the archipelago had already won the title of Best Adventure Destination in Europe for the fourth time.
