Chafariz tipo “Estado Novo”

The fountain allowed the water supply to the populations, for household and agricultural use. This fountain is a little different from the ones found on the island. Besides being entirely built in stonework, it has a pyramid-shaped structure which culminates in a pumpkin-shaped pinnacle and with a “U” shape near the nozzle.
