Kaasfabriek Atelier

In 1947, this structure which held the Agricultural Dairy Cooperative of Santo António was created. With the restructuring of the island’s cooperative sector, the cooperative was, meanwhile, extinct, nowadays holding the Kaasfabriek Atelier, of Pieter and Reni Adriaans, a Dutch couple residing in São Jorge.

This atelier began its activity on July 2015, constituting itself as a cultural centre with exhibitions, workshops and also conferences and performances. The building belongs to the Parish Council of Norte Grande.
