Mills of Mistérios

The Mills of Mistérios are a set of mills built throughout the Urzelina’s coastal line. Some of them are not too high and are located in the coastal line, taking advantage of the sea winds. Within this set, we find mills which were already abandoned or are incomplete, of several types: two rotating wood mills of the “Faial” type; a rotating wood mill of the “São Jorge” type and two fixed stone mills of the “São Jorge” type.
