GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMMODATION 

O Retiro do Alfredo (Alfred’s Haven) is a 19th century family house, which was recently recovered by its current owner. Located in Candelária, and surrounded by a private green area with about 1800m2, it is the ideal holyday place for small groups. Candelária is a small town on the southwest coast of São Miguel island, in the archipelago of the Azores, where the climate is very mild throughout the year.
